Between force and delicacy, the work of Anne-Cécile Espinach anchors itself in one piece to adorn any body.

Free from outdated formal conventions, Kimôh is power-dressing in harmony with oneself. It’s how you feel in a Kimôh: ready to face the world with a strong statement that will always be personal and familiar. Whatever that means to you.

The Artist

Anne-Cécile Espinach is an artist and textile designer working with clothes, costume and interior design.

Her work is rooted in the universal, primal need to feel embraced, sheltered, and empowered. Her intuitive and instinctive use of textiles extends the body’s natural habitat, facilitating movement, expression and individuality.

Espinach graduated in Fine Arts and Art History and received the FAD award (Fostering Arts and Design / Barcelona) for best new designer. Her career began with textile sculptures and installations that physically engaged her audience.

From there began her international work spanning the fields of textile installation, fashion and costume design for contemporary dance and theatre productions.

This experience combined with her fascination with Japanese kimonos and her love of the art of tailoring, she has created the “Kimôh”, a timeless, versatile garment, fusing Japanese tradition with classic tailoring, that both defines the brand’s concept and gives it its name.
