L'Heure du Rêve

"The possibility to have clothes for the staff, designed in accordance with the general art-direction, is a precious added value that really gives coherence and harmony to the whole project" - Cédric Riffaud.

In 2020, the festival la Bâtie took place right after the first Covid crisis, so a primary concern for the organisers was how to incorporate the restrictions, whilst creating a feeling of togetherness in the central hall, bar and restaurant.

By styling the staff outfits in line with the interior design of the space we were able to create a unity between all of those sharing the venue at that unique moment in time.

The main idea was to create a cosy, intimate and plush atmosphere with lowlights; we used a stock of display mannequins and transformed them into lamp-statues, giving the sensation of presence even when the space was empty.

These mannequins were carefully painted, modified with an electrical system and crowned with a made-to-measure lampshade, using selected textiles that were present in other parts of the global design.

We positioned these luminous statues to discreetly welcome visitors and elegantly guide them in the right direction.
